The Learn to Play Hockey program at the Lancaster Ice Rink is structured prepare and encourage children (from age 3 and older) to have the appropriate skill base for a positive, successful start and continuing career in the sport of ice hockey. This program is a fun and encouraging atmosphere for skaters to learn the "ins and outs" of ice hockey. Players will learn basic skating and ice hockey skills in a pressure-free atmosphere. The skill development drills will focus on stick handling, passing, shooting, and other aspects important in the game of hockey.
