The program is designed to provide a fun and positive experience that fosters a lifelong love of skating.

We look forward to skating with you!

Preparing for Class:

Skates: First-time skaters should start with the provided rental skates.

Helmet: Required for ages 7 and under, and for all new skaters (not provided by the rink). Helmet Guidelines: https://www.learntoskateusa.com/media/1208/helmets.pdf

Clothing: Wear warm, fitted, and layered clothing that allows for easy movement (no jeans or oversized items). Use thin, above-the-ankle socks to prevent skate rub.

Gloves are required.

Important Note: Hockey gear—including hockey skates, helmets with cages, gloves, and pads—is not recommended for beginners in basic skating classes. This equipment can restrict movement and hinder the development of proper technique. It is better suited for use when transitioning to a hockey program.

Parental Supervision Requirement:
A parent or responsible adult must remain at the rink for the entire Learn to Skate session to ensure the safety and support of skaters.
