Stadel Volvo Safety Day Coming to Lancaster Ice Rink
Fun Filled Event Scheduled for October 10th
The Lancaster Ice Rink will be firing on all cylinders when it hosts Family Travel Safety Day on Saturday, October 10th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Presented by Stadel Volvo Motors in East Petersburg, PA, the event will feature a full day of activities geared towards both adults and kids.
Included in this exciting day of automobile and biking safety are the following events:
- Experience City Safety when you test drive Volvo’s new XC60 T6 AWD small premium utility vehicle - the world’s first car to stop itself!! Free skating passes to the ice rink will be handed out to the first 50 drivers.
- Visit exhibits on proper child seat usage by Safe Kids, safe bicycling programs from CycleSmart Dream Ride, and the Dare to Prepare pre-driver education program from AAA.
- Register to win a KeyFit30 infant car carrier from Chicco.
- Hang out with The Rose FM 101, who will be broadcasting live from the ice rink from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Prizes will be awarded during their broadcast.
- Visit the Lancaster Ice Rink to watch the day's hockey action and to find out more about learn to skate, learn to play hockey, and figure skating programs available at the rink.
