For camp/clinic/league participants under age 18: It is agreed that Lancaster County Youth Amateur Hockey League shall in no way be responsible for any injury of any kind to parent’s son/daughter or any ward arising out of or in the course of any operation of said program or rink. It is the intention of the parent to waive and release any and all claims of any kind whatsoever, in the law or in equity, of his or her above mentioned son/daughter, ward, or guardian on account of any injury of any kind arising out of or in the course of any said program or rink.
Participants and/or participant’s parent(s)/guardian(s) acknowledge, understand and assume the risks, if any, arising from the conditions and use of ice hockey rinks and related premises and acknowledges and understands that included within the scope of this waiver and release is any cause of action, arising from the performance, or failure to perform maintenance, inspection, supervision or control of said areas and for the failure to warn of dangerous conditions exiting at said rinks, for negligent selection of certain releasees, or negligent supervision or instruction by releasees.
“Releasees’ include event host, other participants, coaches, officials, sponsors, owners and operators of the premises used to conduct any event and each of them, their officials, directors, and employees.

For camp/clinic/league participants over age of 18: The participant, for and in consideration of the right to enter upon and use the locker rooms and ice surface at the Lancaster Ice Rink owned by the Lancaster County Youth Amateur Hockey League (referred to hereafter as “LIR”), does hereby release and forever discharge LIR and any and all other persons and organizations, their successors and assigns, heirs, executors, administrators and insurers from all manner of causes of action, suits, claims and demands which may accrue or be raised as a result of entering upon the property and/or using the locker rooms and ice surface, specifically to include, but not limited to, any and all claims which may arise in the future for personal injury or property damage caused or alleged to be caused by any condition of, or activity upon, the property, including the activity of skating and playing hockey.

The participant acknowledges that by signing this Liability Waiver and Indemnity Agreement he/she is releasing all of the above-named individuals and/or institutions, and any other persons or organizations, whether named or not, from all liability or claims, whether the risks of such injury, damage or claim is known or unknown, which may arise out of any condition of, or activity upon, the property, including the activity of playing hockey.

The participant agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend LIR from any loss, claim or liability alleged against or incurred by LIR arising in any manner out of the participant’s use of the facility. This indemnity expressly includes indemnification, including defense costs, for such claims whether or not it is alleged that they arise out of negligence or other liability producing conduct of LIR, in whole or in part.

The participant acknowledges that he/she is greater than eighteen (18) years of age, has read this Liability Waiver and Indemnity Agreement and has executed it with full understanding of its meaning and effect
